Since the Xbox360 was first launched in 2005 and then, developers have worked hard under the guidance of Microsoft. One of the directives given by Microsoft is that the game for the Xbox360 to run with a resolution of 1280 x 720.
David Jefferies from Black Rock Studio recently released a statement that Microsoft has lowered the requirements and this will mean that developers can create games with a lower resolution.
Of course there are some games that Xbox360 has been released with a resolution that is not too high. An example is Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4. If so, is now gamers no longer need to worry about not able to play Xbox360 games on television that does not have high resolution.
